Snow In Southern Ontario

Posted by on Tuesday, October 25, 2016

A low pressure system over the U.S. Midwest will push across Southern Ontario Wednesday night into Thursday.

As it does so it has the potential to bring the seasons first snowfall to the region.

Precipitation is expected to be predominantly rain. However overnight Wednesday and into Thursday temperatures will be cold enough for precipitation to change to snow. Especially near the Kawartha Lakes and over through Simcoe County.

In the heaviest snow 5 to 10 cm is possible.
