Snow in Parts of Alberta Thursday

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Thursday, September 27, 2018

We could see some snow in parts of Alberta today.

Places such as Jasper, along the central Alberta Foothills could see a few centimetres of snow. Amounts should be no more than 5 cm for most areas.

In Banff National Park the snow level will be at 1900 metres this morning. Snow level will be 1600 metres this morning in Kananaskis to Canmore.

In Jasper National Park snow level will lower to 1700 metres this morning. Snow level lowering to 1500 metres this afternoon in the Crowsnest Pass, Pincher Creek, and Waterton Lakes Nat. Park area.

East of that, rain will be on the menu for places such as Calgary and Red Deer.  About 5 mm is likely.
