Snow, Icy Roads, and Extreme Wind Chills Expected in Ontario this Weekend

Snow squalls continue this morning southeast of Georgian Bay. Total snowfall amounts of 15 cm are expected.

In Northeastern Ontario, Central Ontario and then Southern Ontario tonight some snowfall is expected.

A sharp cold front may bring icy road conditions from the Golden Horseshoe into Southwestern Ontario late on Sunday.

On Monday flurries and local snow squalls are likely southeast of Lake Superior.

These snowfall events will have an impact on transportation.

On Sunday there will be extreme wind chills near minus 50 across  Northern Ontario. On Monday extreme wind chills will once again be present in Far Northern Ontario with wind chills of minus 45 in the morning and evening.
