Snow Continues Across the Prairies

An area of low pressure moved from Southern Alberta northeastward on Thursday and brought snow to Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Snow will continue today. Snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm are possible across parts of the southern and central prairies. 
Snow is tapering off in the Peace River, Grande Prairie, and Drayton Valley regions. Snow will taper off in Alberta west to east throughout the day. 

So far area to the north and east of Edmonton have seen 10 to 25 cm of snow according to Environment Canada.

As of 4 a.m. Saskatoon had received 5 to 10 cm of snow.

Areas from the Yellowhead Highway to the north is looking at snowfall totals from 10 to 20 cm.

Central Manitoba may see 10 to 15 cm of snow today and tonight.
