Yes, you heard that right the "S" word has been used.  Whether your ready or not, mother nature is giving us a taste of winter early.

The snow is expected to start on Wednesday Morning in the Mackenzie Valley, Northern Saskatchewan, and Northern and Central Alberta, with the snow reaching Southern Alberta, and Southern British Columbia starting on Wednesday evening through the weekend.  Areas such as the City of Edmonton, and the City of Fort McMurray will see up to 10 centimeters in accumulation of the frozen precipitation.  Areas in the Mountains, such as Jasper, and Banff will see up to 20 cm from Wednesday through into the weekend.  Areas in the southern parts of the provinces such as the City of Kelowna, and the City of Calgary will only see up to 5 cm of snow by the weekends end.

Thankfully for these regions, the seasonal fall temperatures will be back on Monday with lots of sunshine into next week.
