Snow began in the Fraser Valley area overnight and will continue through Saturday with total accumulations up to 25 cm expected by this evening.

There will also be strong southerly winds.

Gusts to 110 km/h are expected over coastal sections of North Vancouver Island and the Central Coast.

Haida Gwaii will also get strong winds.
