In Southern Ontario near northern Lake Huron, Lake Erie and eastern Lake Ontario, southwesterly wind gusts near 80 km/h are expected today.

Additionally, a sharp cold front will sweep through Northeastern Ontario today. Ahead of the cold front, drizzle and temperatures above the freezing mark are expected, and along the cold front a heavy flurries and local blowing snow may be possible.

Behind the cold front temperatures will then drop quickly below the freezing mark, which may lead to untreated roadways becoming icy.
