We are closely watching an area of low pressure that is expected to push across Southern Ontario Thursday through the weekend.

It currently appears as though precipitation will begin in the form of rain by Friday morning.

Precipitation will likely change from rain to ice pellets or freezing rain across Southern Ontario before changing over to snow.

Conditions will generally improve by Saturday evening.

There is a potential that some areas of Southern Ontario could see significant amounts of snow.

The snow will linger throughout the day on Friday night and Saturday.
