While flurries are in the forecast for most areas today, some places may receive 20 or 30 cm of snow.

Through Gros Morne to Parson's Pond - Hawke's Bay, there could be as much as 30 cm of new snow on the ground by Sunday evening.

Snow will be heavier over higher terrain.

For the Corner Brook area 15 cm is possible by Monday evening. 5 to 10 cm is possible in central. On the Avalon no more than 5 cm is expected.

10 to 15 cm of snow is expected along the northern Labrador coast Sunday into Monday. There will also be some strong wind.

The snow is due to a low pressure system well offshore.
