Significant Snowfall in Quebec

A low pressure system moved along the Atlantic Coast and brought significant snowfall amounts to parts of Quebec, especially east of the St. Lawrence River. 

There were several power outages, especially in the Eastern Townships. 

Below is a summary of snowfall amounts since Friday.
  • Stanstead: 19 cm
  • La Patrie: 23 cm
  • Bromont: 15 cm
  • Orford: 30 cm
  • Sutton: 36 cm
  • Sherbrooke 30 cm
  • Saint-Georges: 18 cm
  • Lac-Etchemin: 15 cm
  • Saint-Hilaire-de-Dorset: 25 cm
  • Massif du Sud: 40 cm
  • Mont Saint-Mathieu: 23 cm
  • Saint-Eusebe: 26 cm
  • Mont Comi: 20 cm
  • Val-d'Irene: 12 cm
  • Gaspe Park: 5 to 10 cm
  • Gaspe: 9 cm
  • Charlevoix Massif: 24 cm
  • Grand-Fonds: 15 cm

Some areas also received heavy rain.
  • Montréal: 26 mm
  • Sainte-Clothilde / L'Acadie: 30 mm
  • Trois-Rivières: 21 mm
