Significant Snow for Manitoba?

Posted by on Tuesday, October 4, 2016

A deep low continues to develop in eastern Montana.

Heavy rain is expected over parts of southern Saskatchewan through northern Manitoba throughout the week with 60 to 80 mm possible.

The counter-clockwise spin of the low will drive colder air in behind the system that is changing rain to snow over cypress hills.

In northern Manitoba there remains considerable uncertainty in snowfall amounts from 15 to 50 cm are possible Tuesday through Thursday.
