Significant Rain and Freezing Rain Impacted the Maritimes

Over the weekend there was significant rain and freezing rain across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Two frontal systems impacting the area from the United States and then from the St. Lawrence River. It began on Sunday morning and continued until Monday morning.

  • Western Head: 46 mm
  • Yarmouth: 44 mm
  • Kejimkujik: 38 mm
  • Brier Island: 33 mm
  • Shearwater: 33 mm
  • Greenwood: 30 mm
  • Malay Falls: 30 mm
  • Kentville: 22 mm

Freezing Rain Totals:
  • Sydney: 7 mm
  • Halifax Airport: 4 mm
  • Gagetown: 9 mm
  • Fredericton: 7 mm
  • Moncton: 5 mm
  • Saint John: 6 mm
  • Bathurst: 2 mm
