Severe Weather Expected Across the Plains on Tuesday and Wednesday

Tuesday and Wednesday are set to be very active days across the Plains.

On Tuesday there is a risk of severe thunderstorms for north-central Kansas into southeast Nebraska.

Storms are expected to develop late on Tuesday afternoon and evening.

The main threats include large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes are possible.

Severe weather will also plague the area on Wednesday.

Severe thunderstorms are likely across a large part of the southern and central Plains on Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.

A few tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail are possible. The greatest threat area is from northwest Texas across Oklahoma and eastern Kansas.
