Severe Storms Possible on Friday in Oklahoma

On Friday there is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms for portions of central and eastern Oklahoma.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to develop Friday late afternoon and persisting into Friday night across Oklahoma.

The main threats are large hail and strong wind gusts.

Cities in the severe threat include Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Norman, Broken Arrow, Edmond, and to a lesser extent, Springfield, MO, Denton, Fort Smith, Frisco, and Fayetteville.

The tornado threat is very low.
