Severe Storms for Central Plains, More Active Tuesday

Posted by on Sunday, February 28, 2016

Thunderstorms are likely to impact portions of the south central Plains Monday night with some risk for severe weather.

Hardest hit cities are expected to be Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Norman, Lawton, and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Tuesday will be another active day as well. Strong storms, with some risk for severe wind gusts and hail, are possible on Tuesday afternoon and evening for parts of southern and eastern Texas into the lower Mississippi Valley, and perhaps portions of the lower Ohio and Tennessee Valleys.
