As the heat continues across Atlantic Canada, several temperature records have been broken.

In Newfoundland daily maximum temperature records were broken in:

Badger 
New record of 31.2 
Old record of 30.8 set in 2001 
Records in this area have been kept since 1956 

Bonavista 
New record of 29.4 
Old record of 28.9 set in 1970 
Records in this area have been kept since 1956 

La Scie 
New record of 28.7

St. John's
