Several Die in Japan Flooding

A torrent of heavy rain flooded portions of southwestern Japan killing 176 people.

In the Okayama prefecture, home to 1.9 million people, water was almost five meters high.

People were left stranded on rooftops. Entire towns have been flooded.

Emergency crews are still searching for people.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that 73,000 troops and emergency workers have been deployed.
