Several Cold Temperature Records Broken in Alberta

An Arctic ridge of high pressure brought an extremely cold airmass into Alberta. Extreme cold warnings are in effect for the much of the province and are expected to continue into at least Sunday. 

The following locations set new record low temperatures Saturday morning:
