Sea Arch collapses in Nova Scotia

Posted by on Wednesday, October 21, 2015

A famous landmark on Long Island in the Minas Basin, Nova Scotia is looking much different today after a sea arch collapsed into the ocean on Monday night.

The arch, kown as "the eye", is a popular tourist attraction. Kayaks and fishing boats were known to go through the arch.

There were no storms or bad weather in the area. Nor were there any hints of unusual geologic activity.
