A fire erupted underneath Interstate 85 in Atlanta on Thursday.
As a result of the blaze a portion of the roadway collapsed.
It is estimated that 250,000 vehicles drive along that
stretch of highway daily.
Officials said it's still too early to tell how long the
construction will take.
Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal declared a state of emergency
Thursday and said the state is mobilizing to keep traffic snarls to a minimum.
