Risk of Flooding Across Atlantic Canada

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Saturday, January 13, 2018

It is going to be a wet weekend across Atlantic Canada.

Some areas such as western Newfoundland, southern Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick will see significant rainfall.

This will likely lead to some flooding.

After the low pushes through temperatures near +10 will drop well below freezing, this will cause all the water on the ground to freeze quickly.

The low will also be accompained by some strong wind.
