Rip currents off a beach in Alabama on Friday have killed two teenage brothers.

The boys were vacationing with their family from the Louisiana.

Their bodies were recovered about 6 a.m. Saturday.

There were red flag warnings on the beach Friday, indicating a high risk of rip currents.

Rip current are a relatively strong, narrow current flowing outward from the beach through the surf zone and presenting a hazard to swimmers.
