Birds in Gilbert, Minnesota are ruffling feathers of residents.

Residents have been calling police about birds who they say appear to be intoxicated.

The birds have been flying into cars and windows, and yes they are intoxicated, but not from beer, from ingesting berries that have fermented earlier than usual, and the sugar in the fruits can turn into alcohol as they lose moisture.

The problem will take care of itself once the birds sober up and get their heads out of the clouds.
