Things are a bit icy on the Avalon Peninsula.

This morning at 9:30 am the St. John's International Airport recorded the weather condition as mist, ending 60 hours and 6 minutes of freezing rain or freezing drizzle according to Environment Canada's airport observations.

Sunday marked the third consecutive day of freezing rain.

Areas of higher elevation saw more accretion.
