Posted by on Friday, April 1, 2016

It will be a rainy day across Newfoundland as a low pressure system will ask over Quebec and bring significant amounts of rain to Newfoundland and Labrador.

Environment Canada has issued rainfall warnings or the following locations
Avalon Peninsula Southeast
Avalon Peninsula Southwest
Bay St. George
Burgeo - Ramea
Burin Peninsula
Channel-Port aux Basques and vicinity
Connaigre
Corner Brook and vicinity
Gros Morne
Parson's Pond - Hawke's Bay

Additionally, some areas may see some snow as well predominantly along the west coast and the Northern Peninsula however snowfall amounts will be kept fairly low as temperatures will rise, potentially reaching or exceeding ten degrees for many areas of the province today.
