Rain & Snow for Nova Scotia

Posted by on Wednesday, April 13, 2016

A couple low pressure systems just off the coast of Nova Scotia has the potential to deliver some significant rain and some significant snow to northern sections of the province beginning on Thursday night.

It appears as though the heaviest rain will impact coastal areas where as much as 20 millimeters in possible. Inland there is the possibility of seeing anywhere from 5 to 10 centimeters of snow for some localized areas.

There remains some uncertainty as to exactly who will see what kind of precipitation and just how much. We will continue to monitor the situation.
