Rain and Snow to Batter Southern Ontario

A storm is heading toward Southwestern Ontario.

Heavy rain is possible for some areas. Rain changing to snow across the region in the afternoon.

For some areas, such as Windsor, 20 to 30 mm of rain is possible.

The heavy rain may cause some flooding.



When the rain changes to snow, some accumulating snow is possible. Heavy snow is especially likely in the Hamilton and Niagara regions. Snow may get as far north as the Golden Horseshoe. 

The snow will begin to taper off on Friday. Snowfall amounts could exceed 15 cm.
