Questions Swirl on Possible Prairie Lows

This weekend and Monday some model guidance are suggesting a cut-off low moving across the western United States.

At this time there is some model discrepancies regarding how far north the low will reach.

The Canadian and American models trend the low more toward the north.

The UK Met and Euro models take the low more toward the south on Monday.

As a result precipitations forecast over southern prairies will not be too significant, except, perhaps the extreme southeastern British Columbia and extreme southern Alberta regions may receive higher amounts.

A Colorado Low could develop in Tuesday and bring rainfall to southern Manitoba and the upper Great-Lake regions.
