Prairie Snow

There is quite a bit of snow expected on both ends of the Prairies this evening and Thursday.

Manitoba
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Gillam, Norway House - Cross Lake - Wabowden, Shamattawa, and Thompson - Nelson House - Split Lake.

Heavy showers are expected today, however as temperatures cool tonight this rain will transition over to snow. 15 to 25 cm is expected overnight and early Thursday Morning.

Alberta
An upper lever low will bring some precipitation to the Mountain peaks this evening and Thursday.

For Banff National Park    and Kananaskis - Canmore rain will begin this evening but will change over to snow with 10 to 15 centimetres of snow expected before the snow tapers off or changes to rain Thursday afternoon.
