Powerful Low to Impact Atlantic Canada This Weekend

An area of low pressure will be centered off the U.S. Northeast coast on Saturday night.

This will be a very powerful area of low pressure that will being severe weather to Atlantic Canada.

There are special weather statements in effect for all four Atlantic Provinces and portions of Quebec.

For New Brunswick snow is expected, we could see 15 or more cm.

Prince Edward Island a rain snow mix is expected.

Across Nova Scotia a rain snow mix is expected.

In Newfoundland precipitation will begin as snow, with the south coast and Avalon changing to rain.

Labrador snow is expected.

Conditions will improve on Monday.
