It has been so hot recently in Saskatchewan that power boxes on homes have been bursting into flames.

SaskPower, the provincial utility company, says that there have been reports of at least six power meters catching on fire.

It is partially due to the soil that is exceptionally dry and is causing the ground to shift.

Regina has only had 1.8 millimetres of rain last month, making it the driest July in 130 years.
