A once popular tourist destination recently referred to as a 'cesspool' has be reopened to the public.

Boracay, a small island in the central Philippines. It's known for its resorts and beaches was closed for six months.

The reasons attributed to the closing the resort was overcrowding and development that caused pollution.

Now that the Island is opened, there will be new rules in place, including the number of visitors.
