Pilot Faces Medical Emergency, Lands in St. John's

A pilot is receiving care after a Virgin Atlantic 767 flight was diverted to St. John's international airport early this morning.

There was a medical emergency involving the pilot. The exact cause has not been released.

The flight landed in St. John's around 4:10 a.m. this morning and came from Newark, heading to London's Heathrow Airport.

In total there were 140 people on board.

The flight is scheduled to take off this evening.
