Pacific Northwest Get Hammered by Snow

Residents of the Pacific Northwest are contending with something they are not used to... snow... and a lot of it.

As of Sunday afternoon there were about 16,000 customers in Washington without power and over 100 flights were canceled from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

The storm dumped heavy snow over the Seattle area on Saturday and other parts of Washington and Oregon were also impacted.

Washington Governor Jay Inslee declared a state of emergency.

On Sunday the snow spread into Idaho and Montana.
