Over 100 mm of Rain Floods Ontario Towns

Portions of Southern Ontario were underwater on Thursday.

Showers and thunderstorms started over that area that produced an area of torrential rain.

Areas from Huron County east towards Dufferin-Innisfil were the hardest hit areas.

Road closures and localized flooding have been reported as a result of the rain.

Mono Centre: 101 mm
Point Petrie: 100 mm
Goderich: 93.7 mm
Cobourg: 80.2 mm
Oshawa: 61 mm
Trenton: 52.4 mm
Toronto Buttonville Airport: 52 mm
Uxbridge: 46 mm
Kingston: 44.2 mm
Elora: 43.4 mm
Toronto Pearson Airport: 40.4 mm
