Ontario Hammered with Freezing Rain, Snow, and Snow Squalls

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Friday, February 8, 2019

On Friday there is the potential for the freezing rain to continue this morning over Northeastern Ontario.

The snow will taper off over Northeastern Ontario with additional snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm.

We are also expecting snow squalls southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

Strong winds with gusts of 60 to 80 km/h are possible over Southern Ontario.

Blowing snow is also possible over Northeastern and Southern Ontario.
