Northern Lights Could Soon Be Harder To See

We may soon not see the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, for quite some time.

The Sun may enter a quiet period. Since the Aurora Borealis is caused by collisions between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter the earth's atmosphere activity may diminish significantly.

Should this happen it would limit the Aurora Borealis to just the North Pole.

The Sun could enter a quiet phase like we haven’t seen since the beginning of the 1700's.
