NL to See Heavy Rain, Strong Wind, and Snow Over Next 48 Hours

A strong low will push across Newfoundland and Labrador beginning on Monday night.

Across Newfoundland and extreme southeastern Labrador rain is expected on Tuesday into Wednesday. Some areas could see at least 40 mm of rain locally.

Snow will be a concern across Labrador with the potential of 20+ cm for parts of the southeast.

Winds across the province will gust to about 100 km/h. Some areas may see gusts exceeding 100 km/h.
