NL Sets New Temperature Records

Most of Newfoundland and Labrador has been experiencing warmer than average temperatures this fall.

On Monday some areas set a daily maximum temperature records.

Cartwright set a new record of 17.6, narrowly beating the old record of 17.2 set in 1972.

Hopedale reached a high of 13.9. The old record was 13.3 set in 1970.

Also in Labrador was Mary's Harbour, setting a new record of 21.5 beating the old record of 19.4 set in 1970.

In Newfoundland, Burgeo  ser a new record of 20.6, smashing the old record of 16.3 set in 1994.

St. Anthony reached a high of 16.8 taking the 1970 record of 16.7.
