An area of low pressure currently located near Cape Cod will move just east of Nova Scotia by this evening and to Newfoundland on Wednesday.

The low will bring brisk east and northeast winds to Nova Scotia today. Wind will diminish tomorrow morning.

Most of Nova Scotia will see 10 to 20 mm of rain. Amounts will be higher along the east coast.

On Wednesday, Newfoundland will get into some rainy weather.

It will be a similar story for the south and east coast where 10 to 20 mm of rainfall is possible.

Lesser amounts are expected on the west coast. The Great Northern Peninsula will escape largely unscathed.
