The area of low pressure that is impacting Ontario today and tonight will have an impact on the Maritimes on Tuesday and Newfoundland on Wednesday.

Snow will begin over western New Brunswick Tuesday morning and move eastward. There is the possibility that some areas could see 20 cm of snow. Areas along the coast could changeover to rain.

In Nova Scotia it will likely be a rain event. Rain will begin over southwestern Nova Scotia Tuesday afternoon before spreading to the remainder of the province by Tuesday night.

On Prince Edward Island precipitation will likely begin as snow on Tuesday afternoon before changing to heavy rain.

Newfoundland will likely see a rain-snow mix with the possibility of freezing rain.
