Newfoundland Rainfall Amounts

Portions of eastern Newfoundland got drenched by heavy rain on Sunday.

A frontal trough tracked slowly across the area delivering heavy showers and thundershowers.

The rain tapered off early Monday morning as the trough moved out-to-sea. 

Most areas picked up 40 to 80 mm of rain.
