NASA has taken on a mission dubbed "OMG". The mission will measure how quickly the Oceans are melting Greenland.

They are using ships, planes, and other research tools, to understand what’s happening as warm seas edge their way into fjords. Many of these fjords contain large and partly submerged glaciers that are already melting and contributing to sea-level rise.

Scientists say that Greenland is, in fact, the largest global contributor to rising seas.

Anoue one millimeter per year is added to the ocean by Greenland.

As warming increases it has the potential to add another 7.36 meters.
