Mudslides Closes Highway

On Monday a mudslide closed a part of U.S. Highway 395 in Douglas County, Nevada.

About 200 people were forced to the second floor of a lodge when mud gushed into the first floor.

There was damage to some buildings and several cars were damaged from the mud.

In some areas the mud was up to 4 feet deep and stretched on for hundreds of meters.

The Nevada Highway Patrol said it didn't know when the highway might reopen.
