More Rain for Pacific Northwest

Posted by on Tuesday, February 2, 2016

The Pacific Northwest will get a drenching of heavy rain as another system pushes inland on Wednesday.

The area produced coastal rain and higher elevation snow over parts of the Pacific Northwest into Northern California on Tuesday night.

Another round of coastal rain and higher elevation snow over the Pacific Northwest/Northern California is forecast throughout Wednesday with the second system.

Over the Olympic Peninsula over the next few days significant rainfall is likely. Rainfall totals for the Northwest coastal areas are forecast between 50 to 100 mm. Isolated areas may exceed 125 mm.
