Brown Tree Covered by Snow
As of now you would be hard-pressed to find any active weather across the Prairies.

The region has had several days with above seasonal temperatures under a flow of warmer Pacific air.

However that will change on Thursday morning as a new low is expected to develop near Fort Nelson, British Columbia.

As it tracks across Alberta and northern Saskatchewan it will being areas of mixed precipitation.

Since the area has warm air it will be difficult to forecast precipitation types from place to place.

Some areas in the mountain parks could end up with  15 cm of snow.
