Minor Earthquake in New Brunswick

A minor earthquake rattled a portion of New Brunswick on Thursday.

The 3.8 magnitude earthquake was strong enough to knock dishes from shelves and it certainly had people talking.

Chief of Grand Bay-Westfield Fire and Rescue said that "it was a big bang".

The earthquake happened at 9:49 a.m., and was centered in the community of Grand Bay-Westfield.

There were no reports of any significant damage.
