Marble Mountain has taken a beating after two systems brought rain and warm temperatures to western Newfoundland.

The ski attraction was closed on Saturday to allow crews to access the mountain.

After assessing the mountain on Saturday, they announced that the man-made trail network held up very well.

Marble Mountain will be open on Sunday, January 27th with the first chair at 9 am on the Lightning Express Chairlift and Magic Carpets.

Marble Mountain is a ski resort located in the town of Steady Brook, on the west coast of Newfoundland in the Long Range Mountains.

The resort is located on a series of steep ridges forming part of the southern side of the Humber River valley on Mount Musgrave at Steady Brook, approximately 7 km east of Corner Brook.
