Low Still on Track to Bring Rain and Snow to Eastern Canada

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Wednesday, November 15, 2017

An area of low pressure developing just north of Lake Superior will intensify on Wednesday night as it moves Eastward across Ontario, Quebec, the Maritimes and eventually Newfoundland and Labrador.

Precipitation is expected to begin in the form of rain across Northern Ontario before changing over to snow. As the system moves into Quebec, snow will develop on the backside of the low in Ontario.

Most of Quebec, north of the St. Lawrence River will see snow, while rain is expected south of that.

As the low moves into the Maritimes, rain will begin and some snow or freezing rain is possible for Western Brunswick.

In Labrador snow is likely. In Newfoundland while a rain-snow mix it possible.
