Low Pressure System to Cause Rough Seas

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Monday, January 28, 2019

An intense area of low pressure will pass south of Newfoundland and well east of Nova Scotia on Tuesday, sparing any land impacts.

There is an agreement between models that there won't be any land impacts.

Wave heights in several marine districts off the coast of Newfoundland near 4 meters are possible on Monday evening and Tuesday.

Winds will gust to 40 knots in some southern districts.

For more information check out the marine forecast.
